EMC India announced new prices for its range of unified storage
solutions in response to growing customer demand for these
products. The EMC product range starts from Iomega ix2 priced at
19,999 which extends through to the CLARiiON and Celerra range of
storage products. All the products except Iomega come with a 48
month warranty on hardware, which follows the industry norm.
Further, these products are available through 200 plus EMC partners
spread across 40 cities throughout India.
EMC’s latest pricing comes in response to customer
requirements for optimizing IT infrastructure and reducing
complexity. With EMC’s unified storage products, the client
can begin to save on expenses through consolidation and storage
tiering of data. In addition, all EMC products listed are
virtualization-ready, and with virtualization being the CIO’s
number one priority for 2010, EMC expects a strong market response
to these newly priced products.
Further the products have 8Gbps FC capacity to offer double the
throughputs for higher performance for customers. With information
expansion within the digital world, customers are demanding higher
performance at same or lower costs.
EMC is also offering its latest UltraFlexTM Technology which offers
dual-protocol, online-expandable connectivity and is future proof
from a technology standpoint.
