The countdown has begun and it is T-minus 27 days precisely, to
Interop Mumbai. Interop, a leading business technology event, will
be held between September 28 – 30, 2010. The second edition
of Interop-Mumbai will again be held at the Bombay Exhibition
Center in the Goregaon suburb. Registration and other details about
the conference and expo are now available at www.interop.in.
So what’s new at Interop this year?
This year the organizing committee at UBM India (the producers
of Interop-Mumbai) decided to narrow the focus and address the
quality aspect, rather than diversity. So while there are fewer
sessions compared to last year, they are offering some good
keynotes and power panels.
This year Interop-Mumbai will have more knowledge-based workshop
sessions that are sure to attract large numbers. Exhibitors also
have their very own conference track. And there are many sessions
on cloud computing and information security (among other topics),
as you’ll see in the conference grid published on www.interop.in.
There are some great keynote sessions at the start of each day.
Don’t miss Marie Hattar’s keynote on 28th September.
Hattar is Vice President, Borderless Networks Marketing at Cisco
Systems. John McHugh, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer,
Brocade will take the stage after that and tell you how the network
is shaping up for the data center.
On September 29th, Steven J Bandrowczak, VP & General
Manager, Avaya Data Solutions will speak on the new era of business
communications. And on September 30th, there will be keynotes from
Wipro (Anand Shankaran, Senior Vice President and Business Head -
India & Middle East) and HP. Steve Dietch, Vice President
- Marketing, HP Networking, will show you how to simplify your
cloud computing deployment through converged infrastructure.
So, if you want to learn about the very latest in business
technology, log on and reserve your seats for the keynotes and
other informative sessions at Interop-Mumbai.
