Digilink, a leading brand in structured cabling systems,
recently unveiled its new brand identity and also announced various
initiatives to reinforce the brand in the global market commencing
with unveiling a new brand identity. The company was introduced as
a structured cabling brand from D-Link India in 2004.
Last year in October, D-Link India announced its de-merger into
two separate entities that would focus on active products under
D-LINK brand and passive products under Digilink brand. Post the
announcement, there has been an increased focus on positioning
Digilink as an independent SCS brand and thus the need for creating
a new brand identity emerged.
“Digilink is amongst the top two brands in India. Over the
years the brand has evolved from its strengths in the SOHO and SMB
segment to now being a significant player in the enterprise space,
as well. It is present in Latin America, Asia Pacific, Middle East
and SAARC region and our vision is to be the global leader. With
the emerging focus on Digilink it was of critical importance to
have a unique brand identity with an international look and feel.
Our new logo for Digilink ensures the core brand values”,

The Digilink logo has been assiduously thought of and then
decided upon as the appropriate insignia of the brand. It looks to
clearly define the core business of the company and the font and
the color symbolizes the company’s vision and mission. In the
new brand identity, the brand name represented without any space,
indents or hyphenations is suggestive of continuity. The bold and
straight typeface is indicates determination.
The mnemonic for the logo has been placed within the logo itself
and resembles a connector while the white bars in it symbolize the
connector pins. Each connector pin clearly establishes a unique
connection of the brand with the Customers, Partners, Stakeholders
and Employees. The white ‘D’ stands out in the blue
background and represents the ‘D’ for Digilink.
As the company launches out in its next phase of growth, it has
