UBM India (which owns brands like InformationWeek, Network
Computing and CRN) and TechInsights, have announced their third
annual Embedded Systems Conference India 2009 ( www.esc-india.com )
to bring together the global embedded community. The conference
will be held from July 22 to 24, 2009 at the NIMHANS Convention
Centre in Bangalore.
“As the year 2009 progresses ahead, industries across the
spectrum are faced by greater business challenges globally but
India is still able to maintain the growth pace. ESC India
continues to focus on its long term initiative of providing
in-depth and unbiased content from the industry leaders,”
said Sajid Desai, Director, UBM India.
At the gateway of exploding market potential, the demand for
high-level, intense and unbiased education is at a critical point
for Indian design engineers. With its unmatched technical content
and peer-to-peer networking opportunities, ESC India has become a
must-attend regional event for the embedded community. ESC India
2009 will feature technical programs covering security, system
integration, debugging techniques, software engineering practices,
programmable logic, multimedia, signal processing, Linux and
real-time kernels to developing for ARM.
The Consortium of Electronic Industries of Karnataka (CLIK) and
Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE)
have extended their association support for ESC India 2009. Uma
Reddy, President, CLIK said, “We are proud to partner with
ESC India 2009. This event is all the more significant during
the present times. This event will bring in synergy to the industry
by bringing together various industry leaders and providing them
with an opportunity to interact and transact business at a
professional level. It will also showcase the combined strength of
our electronic engineering and embedded systems
industries.”
Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with their
peers and industry experts from around the world, as well as meet
face-to-face with strategic suppliers and discover new products and
solutions to meet their most pressing design challenges.
The Indian design market is pegged to grow at a compounded
annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 21.7 percent between 2007 and
2010, says India Semiconductor Association (ISA). Frost and
Sullivan forecasts that total market revenue generated in the
Indian semiconductor market in 2009 will reach $3.18 billion with a
CAGR of 36 percent.
While the world is watching the technological boom in India,
Embedded Systems Conference continues to mirror this growth in its
third consecutive year.
