MD Agrawal, Vice President, CSI recalled the efforts of Late Satish Doshi, a senior Fellow member and mentor of the chapter in spearheading the quest for premises for the chapter, which was fulfilled with the efforts of Saurabh Sonawala, treasurer of CSI. Agrawal assured the Chapter team and the members present of full support from the HQ, but also reminded them to do more programs and activities with the improved facilities.

Saurabh Sonawala recollected the days when they had to scout around for an appropriate place fitting the budget for independent chapter premises. He reiterated support to the Chapter but also called upon the Chapter, being the largest and most active one to rise to the occasion to support the HQ when required and serve as a role model for others to follow.

The members present observed a minute’s silence as a mark of respect to the memory of late Satish Doshi, whose death only about a week back had lent a sad note to the occasion.

Key Members of CSI such as MD Agrawal, Saurabh Sonawala, Ron Dumasia, Rajiv Gerela, Vishnu Kanhere, Ravi Eppaturi, K.G. Chari, RC Goyal, the new CSI trainees,  SMF Pasha, Yogendra Gehlot, Rashmi Chordia, and others were present.  The occasion was lent a special color and brightness by the presence of better halves – Mrs. M.D. Agrawal and daughter Shruti and Mrs. Gerela and daughter Chaitali.

MD Agrawal performed the pooja followed by all present invoking the blessings of God by performing Aarti.
