Mahindra Satyam has recently announced a partnership with Sybase India, the Indian subsidiary of Sybase Inc to provide secured enterprise mobility solutions to customers globally.

The solutions that Mahindra Satyam will provide to its customers will be based on Sybase Unwired Platform (SUP), a mobile enterprise application platform that provides system integrators, independent software vendors, and enterprise developers with the ability to easily develop, deploy and manage mobile applications.

Sudesh Prabhu, Director, Pre-sales & Services, Sybase India said, “Recently we have seen a significant shift in the expectations of end users. The new generation of business users demands immediate access to SAP solutions using mobile devices. Our partnership with Mahindra Satyam allows us to enable our customers to deliver instant value by helping them to maintain relationships with their end-customers, partners and suppliers to make quick decisions, on the device of their choice.”

SUP will also facilitate the development and deployment of mobile applications to help customers address the challenge of creating and managing multiple mobile applications that securely connect various heterogeneous back-end data sources to all major device types. Mahindra Satyam will offer Sybase Mobile Solutions for SAP that includes mobile CRM and workflow solutions resulting in improved ROI for its customers.

“Our strong presence in industry verticals like manufacturing, automotive, BFSI, oil and gas, retail, aerospace and defense, telecom, and utility will help us considerably as these are the verticals where enterprise mobility is slowly becoming the need of the hour,” said  CS Nair, Vice President and Global Alliance, Mahindra Satyam.
