the Government of India to digitize the data collected across the
country and performing related activities such as maintenance,
indexing, scanning and storage at a central repository.
The project will involve processing all data captured including
images and would also require extraction of information in English
language format. Specialized software and other tools like
Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) will be deployed for
extraction and cross verification.
The project will involve HCL Infosystems digitizing the information
gathered from approximately 55 crore survey forms and 1.10 crore
