D-Link India appoints Tushar Sighat as CEO
Sighat has been earlier associated with D-Link India for over 12 years and was also a member of the founding team InformationWeek News Network, July 01, 2011
In a strategic move towards strong and continued focus on India market, D-Link India Limited has appointed Tushar Sighat as the CEO for India & SAARC region. This is literally home coming for Sighat who was earlier associated with D-Link India for over 12 years and was also a member of the founding team that gradually lead D-Link India to great success between 1995-2007.

Speaking about this new development, Gary Yang, Managing Director – D-Link (India) Ltd., said “We are extremely delighted to have Tushar with us as the CEO for India & SAARC region. He brings with him vast experience & domain expertise spanning over 20 years. Moreover his immense understanding of IT market coupled with great channel rapport will definitely help D-Link to derive great advantage and drive the organization to newer heights of success”

Prior to his new role as CEO, Sighat was part of Cyberoam - Elitecore Technologies Ltd as Senior Vice President – Sales Operation for India & SAARC. At Cyberoam he was part of the core management team responsible for strategic inputs on Cyberoam worldwide business.

In his current role as CEO at D-Link India, Sighat will be responsible for driving the company’s growth  &  play a strategic role to further strengthen D-Link’s position as a leader in ‘End-to-End Networking solution’ with complete focus on India & SAARC region.

Commenting on his appointment as CEO & about his plans for the company, Sighat said, “My association with D-Link is indeed very special & personal at the same time, as I was part of the initial team that worked towards establishing D-Link as a premier networking player in India. While it is a pleasant & overwhelming emotion to be back with D-Link after a gap of 3 years, it is also a very crucial step professionally. Moving ahead I would just like to say that we are determined to continue working closely with our channel partner present across the country & will focus on enhancing D-Link’s presence in the Enterprise and consumer space”

D-Link (India) has been on a major strengthening mode since past 2 years. Post its de-merger in 2009, D-Link India had introduced an enhanced distribution policy with appointment of Ingram Micro & Redington as its National distributor. Very recently the company has made significant investment in company Infrastructure, and as a result has acquired new corporate office in Mumbai and has moved to a new state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Goa.
