Caliber Point Business Solutions, a Hexaware Technologies
subsidiary, recently announced the launch of Republic, its
multi-tenant HR services delivery solution. Built on the Oracle
E-Business Suite Release 12, Republic is hosted and maintained by
Caliber Point and comes with a secure HR Portal.
“Republic will be a strong brand entry into the
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) segment,” said Lowell Williams,
Executive Director of Global Human Resources Services at EquaTerra,
a global sourcing advisory firm. “A multi-tenancy
platform allowing for a degree of client-specific configuration
will be an exclusive yet tenable offering in the market.”
Catering to the immediate need in the market place, Republic is
based on a Per-Employee Per-Month (PEPM) pricing model. Republic
also offers a flexible pricing model for software licensing
combined with BPO services.
“As a leading HRO player with proven expertise, Caliber
Point’s offering with Republic will serve organizations
globally,” said R U Srinivas, CEO, Caliber Point.
“We are confident to get the 'early mover's' advantage with
Republic, since it will greatly enhance our overall HRO delivery
capability.”
“Republic is a winning combination of Caliber
Point’s HR process excellence and Oracle’s
state-of-the-art software,” added Tibor Beles, Vice President
of Business Process Outsourcing for Oracle.
The firm claims that Republic empowers employees through the
platform’s self-service program. This will enable HR managers
to focus on value adding activities like employee engagement,
training and retention. It further provides an integrated
solution for the spectrum of HR services like administrative HR
activities, compensation, payroll, employee benefits, regulatory
reporting and HR analytics.
Caliber Point plans to initially target mid-sized companies with a
workforce ranging from 2,000 to 15,000 employees with Republic and
then scale up gradually. The primary services sector could include
Healthcare, Travel, Logistics, Hospitality, Media, Telecom,
Entertainment and Financial Services as well as traditional
verticals like Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution.
