Persistent Makes it to the Fast 50 Readers Favorites 2008

Persistent Systems has recently announced that it has been listed in the Fast Company’s Fast 50 Reader Favorites of 2008. The annual listing which lists innovative global organizations that have taken businesses to new creative heights saw Persistent being voted ninth out of the fifty winning companies by Fast Company readers.

“Earning a spot on the Fast 50 Reader Favorites of 2008 shows us that our value proposition is really connecting with the publication’s discerning readers,” said Yesh Subramanian, Chief Marketing Officer, Persistent Systems. “The nominees were an impressive group of global innovators, and landing in the ninth spot among them reinforces our leadership position in providing Outsourced Product Development services to companies worldwide.”

The listing saw 120 nominations that included top global companies such as including Microsoft, Salesforce.com and Sun Microsystems.

The focus on three main areas of innovation namely, platform innovation, product engineering process innovation and domain specific innovation, have helped the company achieve scale, in its target segment and retain its position an Outsourced Product Development (OPD) specialist. The company leverages technology accelerators, strategic business models and in-depth customer feedback to get innovative products to market quickly. Over the last five years it has released more than 2,000 software products successfully.
